You’re in good hands. . .
One of the first things that strikes people about Nicole is her warm, pragmatic, and down-to-earth approach. She genuinely enjoys helping her clients and working with them to ensure that they understand their rights and obligations, and to achieve the best possible outcome in any situation.
Whilst studying, Nicole worked for the South-West Sydney Legal Centre in a role that exposed her to a variety of legal matters and clients. During this time, she developed an interest in the field of family law and had an article on Superannuation published by legal publishers CCH.
Prior to her admission as a lawyer, she joined one of the largest specialist family law firms in the Nepean region. Since that time Nicole has worked for specialist family law firms in the Hills area, Sydney CBD, Narellan and now in Penrith.
Nicole completed her Master of Applied Law (Family Law) with the College of Law in 2012 and was awarded the Sandra Paul Memorial Prize for Best Graduating Student. In 2013 she successfully gained accreditation as a specialist in Family Law through the NSW Law Society.
In 2019 Nicole presented a paper on Adoptions in NSW at a Family Law and Criminal Law conference in Vietnam.
In 2020 Nicole was appointed to the NSW Legal Aid Panel for Independent Children's Lawyers, became an Accredited Mental Health First Aider and, after successfully completing the Arbitration Training Course, was added to the list of Arbitrators held by the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (‘AIFLAM’).
Nicole has also completed training in Collaborative Practice to assist her clients to resolve their disputes outside of Court and has successfully completed the National Mediation Assessment. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution Practice to become a Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
